The rooftop bar with stunning views was delightful.
Our room situation was a nightmare. Despite having confirmed a big twin bed, we were given two single beds that made our late-night arrival much more stressful. The room itself was much older than depicted in the pictures, lacking basic comforts like a normal chair to sit on, which was incredibly disappointing.

This stay was pure magic! The breakfast spread was a dream come true, featuring everything from fresh sliced fruits to delightful local cheeses, not to mention the morning Prosecco! I had a canny time here! The breakfast was lush, with loads of fresh fruits and a proper nice selection of cheese. The staff were dead friendly too. But the evening meals could've been more exciting, a bit limited at times, like.

As a historian with a keen appreciation for architecture, I found Palace in Viareggio an exquisite gem. The decor reflects its rich past, giving it a distinctive character. Although street noise reached our Superior room, the rooftop terrace offered tranquil escapes with stunning views. Breakfast impressed with its abundant variety, particularly the local cheeses and fresh pastries.

Stunning views and excellent breakfast
Our stay included a delightful rooftop terrace that offered stunning views over the beach, perfect for evening relaxation. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring an impressive assortment of fresh fruits, pastries, and even oysters on Easter morning! The spacious ensuite bathroom was a lovely touch, adding comfort to our stay. it would have been great to have more options for evening dining as sometimes the buffet didn't meet our expectations.
